Bloom 06:22
In the sky Tigers duel Like Zeus unleashing thunder unto earth The scent of death On a noble's breath Brandishing a star that's dripping blood A Promethean sin A waxing sun Nothing on the horizon but a haze A sound so loud A light so bright That you can almost touch it when it hits But no hard rain's gonna wipe us all out No godlike men could scorch the entire earth So better to face the pretenders stalwart and stout Than to dream in shadows and in black clouds There's a weight Heavier than hell There's a blade Sharp and slick There's a hand Cracked and raw Can you feel it grasping your neck? Wring the arm that anchors it! When I walk, please walk with me Where I am, come be with me Bear these blows, oh, with me It all falls down It all falls down It all falls down...

Aurora 05:11
Like Atlas, toiling still under the weight of millenia A torrent of ants flooding a corpse with a Rosetta Illusions of the present penetrating the mundane Of necessity disintegrate in history's gaze It's coming Can't bear the future if the sun is your enemy Persisting still somehow Five thousand years laboring in civil society Progress beyond it now Staring at the great mirage of condemnation Vanishing now before articulation The appearance of apocalypse is bending on its cane So look now beyond the picture and on into the frame It's over Aurora fading out in my head Blood on white flags turns them all red

Demoulisher 05:31
I think it's time for us to Gather our fingers into a fist Abandon the forms that's keeping us alone and Not die by fire in our sleep at the hands of some demagogue It's not a long way down It's been a long time coming Glory to slaves, and glory to serfs, and glory to us now Let your meek hearts rise A plane flies over Sounds like death But don't think so fast You run out of breath It's a demon made By a madman's art With a menacing face But a festering heart And if the skyscrapers turn into a field A single spark will morph into a flame that we wield And soon the floor will shake and we'll engulf the earth The seeds are sown and there's gas near the hearth A plane flies over Cold wind in its wake Behold the demon And if that day comes We'll still be here We'll still be young We'll still be new So we oppose it But don't fear it Who will? If that day comes We'll still be here We'll still be young We'll still be new We fear nothing

about

Our new EP, A Star That's Dripping Blood, is a contribution toward our third album, made up of songs that have been in the works for more than five years which were sonically inspired by a love for noise rock, metal, and classic post-hardcore. The EP's three songs, in particular, were originally written during a period when I was preoccupied by an OCD-driven, pessimistic paranoia about the possibility of imperialist world war. Having learned more over the years and come to a clearer understanding of the inner workings of imperialism, the lyrics were partially reworked to promote a sort of revolutionary optimism in the face of potential imperialism-driven catastrophe, and to encourage people to ponder the power that they have if they unite against those that exploit and oppress them.
